Stone Age to Iron Age: Key Stage 1 and 2

Pupils will learn about the changes in Britain from the Stone-Age to the Iron-Age, focusing specifically on pre-historic Dorset.  They will have an opportunity to handle and examine a range of real Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age artefacts.  Pupils will also learn about burial practices during this period of history.

  • Handle and examine a range of real Stone-age to Iron-age artefacts
  • Assemble skeletons and learn about burial practices
