BOOKING A LEARNING SESSION

To book one of our learning sessions please contact DCM on 01305 756832 or email learning@dorsetcountymuseum.org Please have available:

  • Contact name and details

  • School/group name

  • Number and age group

  • Possible dates

  • Subject area

Learning Charges

  • All accompanying adults free of charge
  • Sessions taught by Learning team £4.50 + VAT per pupil, accompanying adults free of charge. 2 hour hands on and gallery session. Minimum charge £60.00 + VAT
  • Guided tours £3.50 + VAT per pupil accompanying adults free of charge. Minimum charge £60.00
  • Sessions with no museum input (self directed) £3.00  + VAT per pupil, accompanying adults free of charge.
  • Outreach sessions £150 + VAT per morning, £200 + VAT all day. If the school is outside Dorset, mileage will be charged at 40p per mile
  • Guided tour of the Roman Town House with activities £3.50 + VAT per pupil. 1.5 hours
  • Guided Tour of Maiden Castle with activities £3.50 + VAT per pupil. 2 hours
  • Museum and Town House: £6.00 + VAT per pupil. Hands on activities, galleries and Town House tour. Up to 3.5 hours
  • Museum and Maiden Castle tour and activities: £7.00 + VAT per pupil. up to 4 hours
  • Roman Town House, Maiden Castle and the Town House: £8.50 + VAT per pupil. Full day
  • We can accept groups of up to 120 pupils for workshops and taught sessions, should you wish to bring more please email the Learning Manager on learning@dorsetcountymuseum.org
