Don’t miss our Egg-citing Dinosaur themed family activities this Easter at the Dorset County Museum
Come and Join Paul Stickland, illustrator of the best-selling children’s books Ten Terrible Dinosaurs and Dinosaur Roar! For a fun Pop Up Paper Dinosaur Workshop! Pop Up Book designer Paul will teach you how to create your very own little roaring Dinosaur to take home. A simple and colourful activity suitable for all ages from 4 years upwards, or younger if accompanied by suitably Prehistoric Parents or Grandparents! The workshops take place on Wednesday 4 April between 2pm to 4pm and Friday 6 April between 10am to 12noon, tickets cost £5 per child (with an accompanied adult)
During the holidays families will also have the opportunity to enter a Raffle for £2 for a chance to win some fabulous prizes including a large chocolate dinosaur decorated egg designed and created by Angel Cake Company plus other fantastic dinosaur prizes.
There is also a chance for children (ages up to 12 years) to be artistic and enter our colouring competition, where three lucky winners will win a goodie bag.
On entry to see the rest of the Museum children will be encouraged to find clues throughout the museum’s galleries in our ‘The Dippy Easter Egg Trail’ once completed they will receive a small prize for participating.
