Dorset County Museum’s learning programme supports both formal and informal learning, with an emphasis on promoting skills for learning across a range of subject areas. The Learning Manager and Learning Assistants are trained teachers or teaching assistants and have experience with all age ranges and abilities. Major initiatives including Learning Outside the Classroom, Personalised Learning and Every Child Matters are reflected in the sessions we offer and our learning team regularly attend and deliver training sessions and workshops. The Learning Manager and Learning Assistants will work with your pupils to give them a creative learning experience that will assist in developing their skills and knowledge
